About this tool
A spinning wheel turns a dull decision into a small event. Teachers use it to pick who answers next, streamers to draw giveaway winners, and friends to settle where to eat. Everyone can see the choice was made fairly, which is often the whole point.
This wheel holds up to 100 entries, ticks as it spins, keeps a list of the last results, and can take each winner off so nobody is picked twice. Repeat an entry to give it a bigger slice. Nothing you type is uploaded: the list lives in your browser, and in the link if you choose to share it.
Frequently asked questions
+Is it really random?
Yes. Results come from your browser's secure random number generator (the same kind used for encryption), and are spread evenly. The animation is only for fun; the result is chosen fairly before it plays.
+How many entries can I add?
Up to 100. With many entries the text gets smaller, so short names work best.
+Can I give one option a better chance?
Yes. Type it more than once. Each line is one slice of the same size.
+How do I share my wheel?
Tap “Share this list”. The link opens this page with your entries already on the wheel.
+Can I pick a winner without picking them again?
After a spin, tap “Remove it” to take the winner off the wheel before the next spin.
