How it works
- 1Choose how many dice and how many sides they have.
- 2Tap Roll (or tap the dice). Six-sided dice show real dots; others show the number.
- 3The total appears underneath, and your last ten rolls are kept on the side.
About this tool
Lost the dice from a board game? Playing a tabletop role-playing game and need a d20? This roller covers the standard set: four, six, eight, ten, twelve and twenty sides, plus a hundred-sided die for percentages.
The history shows each roll in dice notation (like 2d6: 3 + 5), so you can check what happened if anyone questions a lucky throw.
Frequently asked questions
+Is it really random?
Yes. Results come from your browser's secure random number generator (the same kind used for encryption), and are spread evenly. The animation is only for fun; the result is chosen fairly before it plays.
+What does 2d6 mean?
Two dice with six sides each. The number before the d is how many dice, the number after is how many sides.
+Can I roll a d20?
Yes. Choose d20 under Sides. You can roll up to ten of them at once.
