About this quiz
There are around 195 countries in the world, and many of their flags look alike: the red and white of Indonesia and Monaco, the tricolours of Ireland and Côte d'Ivoire, the Nordic crosses of Scandinavia. This quiz asks about more than 140 of them, from big countries everyone knows to small island nations.
Wrong answers are chosen from the same continent, so you can't guess just from the region. That makes it a real test, and the fastest way to actually learn the flags: play a few rounds a day and watch your score climb.

+Why are the wrong answers so close?
They come from the same continent as the right answer, so you have to know the flag, not just the region.
+Can I play it with friends?
Yes. Tap “Challenge a friend” after your round. They get exactly the same ten flags and see the score to beat.
+The flags don't show on my computer. Why?
Some older Windows computers can't draw flag emoji. The quiz loads a colour emoji font to fix this; if it still doesn't work, try updating your browser.
