How it works
- 1Choose a set: life and meaning, friendship, or what if.
- 2Read a question and take your time. The best answers are the slow ones.
- 3Everyone answers, or just the person whose turn it is. Tap Next card when you're ready.
About this game
Small talk keeps conversations safe and short. Deep questions do the opposite: they slow things down and give people permission to say what they actually think.
Use them on a long drive, a late night with old friends, or with someone you want to know properly. Answer them yourself too, since it only works if everyone opens up a little. Skip any question that doesn't feel right.
Frequently asked questions
+What are good deep questions to ask a friend?
Questions about memories, values and change work best, like “What did you think of me when we first met?” or “When did you last change your mind about something important?”
+What if a question is too personal?
Skip it. Tap Next card. Good conversations come from feeling safe, not from answering everything.
